I have been a Pacific Northwest native all my life. I've visited many cities and countries throughout my years, but the PNW has always been my favorite place. There are few places where you can go from desert, to mountain range, to forest, to ocean in just a few hours time. From the desert hills where I grew up in Eastern WA to the green expanses of Seattle where I now call home the PNW has always been an incredibly special place.

However when people think of the PNW they focus on the green forests. Never really being aware of all the pieces that make up the PNW.

Throughout this series of books I want to capture the spaces that combine to make up one of the most incredible places on earth, and the stories of the souls that call this place home.
